Kris and I told our dad that if he wanted to go to one of those 'pick it yourself' strawberry places, we would do stuff with whatever he picked. He brought us 30lbs of strawberries!

We cleaned and cut all the berries 2 nights ago and spent most of tonight making preserves. It was our first experience with canning and it looks like it went well so tomorrow we are going to dive in and do lots more.
